They main key to the success of Napoleon’s impressive army also known as (Grande Armee) was his ability and novelty to make crops under his command. Basically the army was comprised to 6 crops. Each crop were include in an average of between 20,000 to 30,000 men which were under the control of Marshal or senior general. Each crops were included of more and two infantry each contains 12,000 men , 2,500 cavalry, six to eight companies of artillery each includes 100 to 120 men, engineers , headquarters staff, medical and service units and ammunition. Napoleons army were mainly includes Infantry, artillery and cavalry in his army each of these have their own duty and they were requires to do exactly want the commanders told them. In addition Napoleon ordered that each crop must only have a distance of 20 miles so they could support each other in the war.
