The Autocracy leadership style of Napoleon Bonaparte and the different levels of authority with different, clear and specified duty for each individual suggest that the emperor of the France especially the military force was based on role culture. In that period of time in the France empire each individual person have their own specified duty looking more closely to this we can example of the Napoleon Grande Armee , in each crops the commander knew that his duty is to control, supervise over the troops and decide on the emergency situations. The soldiers knew that their duty is to fight and defend against the aggressive enemies. Moreover, engineers knew that their duty is to build equipment’s for war the medical and services groups knew they need to back up the injured soldiers. In addition to that the autocratic leadership style of napoleon can also prove that the Napoleon’s Grande Armee is based on role culture as Napoleon tell others their duty and he expect them to do what they have asked for in the best way. In addition to that the centralized organizational structure in the Grande Armee support the fact that the army was based on role culture because in this type of organization the final decision making is usually must be done by the person at the top of the hierarchy which in this case Napoleon were at the top and it was him who was lead the army and made decisions.
